Student at University of North Texas Studying media arts & working at a Crate & Barrel

Intro

I believe that practicing creativity is what makes life liveable. Design in a broad sense is what makes all things what they are. It’s why good design makes things enjoyable and bad design makes you “eek.” So, in practice we learn and learn again. For me, in this portfolio. Some parts may be good others may miss the mark. Though, as for the title, its a “look in progress………”

Work

Currently I work at Crate & Barrel. If you haven’t heard of it it’s a furniture and housewares company constantly featured in the homes of celebrities and those who loves great couches or tables. I love the company and culture and I love the constant design oriented problem solving for clients. I have also worked for a shoe store Johnston & Murphy where I learned more about my love for fashion. The main thing I’ve learned from the jobs I have worked is perspective of life and learning how to deal with people better.
